GorMa was founded in 2022 with a simple yet powerful philosophy: “Taste Strengthens Connections.” This belief lies at the core of everything we do—from crafting innovative snacking products to curating meaningful customer experiences. Our goal is to transform snacking into a meaningful experience that fosters stronger bonds, whether in personal moments or professional settings. Our journey began with a vision to elevate gifting through curated snack experiences.We introduced thoughtfully crafted gift boxes for festivals,starting with Diwali.Over the course of three consecutive Diwali seasons, we actively gathered customer feedback and continuously refined our offerings to better align with evolving tastes and market expectations.

This insight-driven, iterative approach led to the development of 32 innovative and flavorful products, thoughtfully organized into 8 distinct categories, each containing 4 products.These categories were carefully designed to appeal to a broad range of preferences—taking into account factors such as age, gender and lifestyle choices, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic consumption.This strategic segmentation has played a key role in positioning GorMa as a purpose-driven snacking brand,seamlessly catering to both personal and professional needs.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

In 2001, with a modest loan of just ₹15,000, Mr. Patel founded Narayan Education. Facing low student enrollment in the early days, he introduced a revolutionary personalized group tuition model, allowing students to choose from small-group formats (3, 6, or 9 learners) with fees based on the level of personal attention. His bold move to charge premium fees—five times the market rate—was backed by real outcomes and student success stories. Narayan Education quickly gained a reputation for its result-driven approach, especially for medium-skilled students who often lacked proper guidance in conventional institutions.

As a founder, Mr. Patel wore many hats: curriculum designer, marketing strategist, teaching innovator, and operations manager. His ability to recognize market needs and deliver value led to rapid growth. By 2006–2007, the institute had moved into its own premises—an achievement rooted in resilience, innovation, and vision. Over 5,000 students have studied at Narayan Education, many of whom achieved academic excellence and long-term success.

Mr. Kiran Patel is a visionary edupreneur and innovative business leader, shaped by humble beginnings and driven by purpose. Born and raised in the small village of Lath, 125 km from Rajkot, Gujarat, he grew up in a lower-middle-class family, completing his early education in Gujarati medium. In 1992, he moved to Rajkot to pursue higher studies and earned his M.Sc. in Chemistry by 2000. Yet, it was his passion for teaching—not chemistry—that set him on a transformative entrepreneurial path.

But his journey didn’t stop there.By 2012–2013, Mr. Patel identified a critical gap in how students from the Saurashtra region approached competitive exams like JEE and NEET. Recognizing a lack of proper guidance and confidence, he visited Kota, Rajasthan, multiple times to study India’s top coaching models. Armed with these insights, he launched Nandu Education Pvt Ltd, a premium brand focused exclusively on competitive exam preparation.

Through a combination of awareness seminars, impactful marketing campaigns, and a first-of-its-kind move to bring Kota’s top faculty to Saurashtra, Nandu Education saw a threefold increase in revenue in its very first year, enrolling over 300 students. Mr. Patel’s leadership set new standards in the region’s competitive education sector, empowering hundreds of students to aim higher and achieve more.

To stay ahead, he has participated in global education forums like DIDAC (Bangalore), BETT (London), and leadership workshops at IIM Ahmedabad. His commitment to innovation even took him to Finland, where he explored the world’s most admired education system. He has personally spoken to over 30,000 students about goal-setting and mentored 25,000+ parents on modern parenting strategies—demonstrating his deep sense of social responsibility and love for learning.

With two decades of hands-on experience, Mr. Patel has evolved into a result-oriented perfectionist—skilled in market analysis, business modeling, financial planning and scalable enterprise development.His journey reflects his ability to turn obstacles into opportunities, and bold ideas into sustainable ventures.

Today,that same entrepreneurial fire fuels his latest venture—GorMa: The Ultimate Snacking Company.
